Many hands make light work

Southern Methodist Educational Network originated from the association of centenary teaching establishments in RS – Centenário Methodist School, in Santa Maria, Americano Methodist School in Porto Alegre, and União Methodist School, in Uruguaiana. Methodist University Center IPA and FAMES- Santa Maria Methodist College are also part of the institution.

The institution offered nine graduate courses until 2003. However, Methodist University Center IPA greatly expanded in 2004, when the Law Course was affiliated and new coursers were later created.

Nowadays, Methodist University Center IPA offers 34 graduate courses:

Bachelor degrees: Management, International Business Management, Hospital Management, Architecture, Biomedicine, Accountancy, Fashion Design, Law, Physical Education, Nursing, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Phonoaudiology, Journalism, Nutrition, Advertisement, Psychology, Social Assistance, Occupational Therapy, Tourism & Hotel.

Majors: Biological Sciences, Physical Education, Philosophy, History, Letters - English/Portuguese, Mathematics, Music, and Pedagogy.

Santa Maria Methodist College offers 7 graduate courses.

Bachelor degrees: Business Management, International Trading Management, Hospital Management, Law, Physical Education, Computing Information System

Majors: Letters – Portuguese, Letters – Spanish.
